How do I borrow books? Bring your student/staff card to the circulation desk. The number of books and loan period depends on whether you are an undergraduate, postgraduate, or staff member. |
What if I forget my student card? You may still borrow using your student number and ID, but your details will need to be verified. |
How do I renew a book? You can renew at the circulation desk, provided the item is not reserved by another user or email the library. |
What happens if I return a book late? Fines apply for overdue books. Please see the Library Tariffs on the noticeboards for details. |
Does the library offer Wi-Fi and computers? Yes. All campuses have Wi-Fi, and computer workstations are available for study and research |
Can I print, copy, or scan in the library? Yes! Printing, photocopying, and scanning are available at all campuses. Costs are listed on the noticeboards. |
How do I find eBooks? You can type in Title/Author/keywords in the search box or search on EBSCO Mobile. |
Where can I find help with referencing? The WCCN Referencing guide is available on the library website under [find]. as well as on iLearn. You can also book a session with a librarian for one-on-one help. |
Does the library offer training or workshops? Yes! The lecturers usually books sessions. The library runs workshops on searching databases, referencing and basic MS word formatting. Watch the notice boards or the WCCN library Facebook group for dates. |
